We spent over twenty years working with affordable home buyers as mortgage professionals. Throughout our career, we saw too many buyers spend every penny they had just to get into a home, only to find themselves underwater for years as they struggled to handle a much higher housing payment, furnish and landscape their home, pay their rising utility bills, and keep up with their other daily financial demands.

We wished we could do more. Attainable Housing Advocates, and the Hoper program, is the resource we always wanted. Our programs exist to help Loan Officers, Realtors, and Home Builders do more than just sell homes and close loans. With the programs available through Attainable Housing Advocates, mortgage and real estate professionals now have more tools to help their clients utilize a home purchase as a launching pad to a more secure financial future.

Through quality homebuyer education, innovative financial mentorship, and savvy savings creation, our program participants are moving away from a history of living check to check to a new reality of sustained savings and improved financial stability. We believe our research will demonstrate that homebuyers who take the time to enhance their financial knowledge and make behavioral changes focused on long term saving, in conjunction with a home purchase, will succeed on their mortgage and their overall financial life at a rate higher than those who do not.
